Dr. Katherine Smith

Dr. Smith earned her medical degree from McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and completed fellowship training in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery at Cleveland Clinic Florida. She is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and holds an ABOG Focused Practice Designation in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery.
She works with each patient on an individualized plan and, when needed, coordinates care with colorectal surgery, urology, fertility specialists, pelvic floor physical therapy, and pain management. Her goal is to combine meticulous endometriosis excision surgery with thoughtful, comprehensive care, so you feel informed, supported, and confident in your decisions. She practices alongside Dr. Rachael Haverland.
